NENC Operational Delivery Network's Webinar
Early in October 24, the CHWN worked with the NENC Operational Delivery Network to invite Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals and other professionals in PICU, ED, inpatient and community settings to engage in a learning session to cover the following topics:
- CHWN/CYPT – background and context to Epilepsy work
- Background to Epilepsy: Aetiology, classification, syndromes
- Seizures
- Treatment: Medication and Non -medication
- Convulsive Status Epilepticus: out of hospital and inpatient care
The session enabled discussion and questions from the group via the chat function and through short interactive discussion
The session was led by Sophie Gilmour-Ivens ESN Regional Strategic Lead and will supported by Dr Ramesh Kumar (Consultant Paediatrician) and Louise Dauncey (CHWN Delivery Manager)
