Vaginal reflux is a common problem in girls and results in wee being trapped in the vagina. This can lead to wetting when retained wee leaks from your daughter’s vagina, particularly when she stands up, jumps, coughs or sneezes. The wetting can occur much later after she has passed urine.

My Life, My Future (MLMF) has been developed by Transitions Lead at Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital. MLMF is a person-centred, transition planning tool, for young people from age 11+, who are living with long term health conditions. It can be used to consult with disabled young people or those who find it harder to speak up for themselves. MLMF has been updated and reviewed several times and now includes resources from Alstrom Syndrome UK (ASUK), Transition Knowledge and Skills (T-KASH) logos.
